Location Service Finland was founded by Klaus Hedström, whose career spans more than 30 years of location management across feature films, drama series, and international productions.
Klaus’s background includes work as a special effects coordinator, pyrotechnician, and logistics supervisor across Finland and Europe, with a specialist focus on projects filmed on sea, and in coastal environments.
As an experienced sailor and safety expert, he leads technical planning for high-risk and infrastructure-heavy environments, combining fieldcraft with production feasibility and crew safety frameworks.
In parallel to client work, Klaus is currently authoring an industry guide on production safety in the Finnish film & TV industry.
Klaus was elected chairman of Location Managers of Finland Assosciation 2023-2024.
